This 352-square-foot sleeping cabin on Squam Lake is built over a quintessential New England field of boulders, with a gentle approach over an inclined bridge. Constructed with locally- sourced materials, the timber-framed cabin’s rafters are rough sawn with one side left live. A treehouse effect is enhanced with flared walls.
